Adenomyosis, Early Diagnosis and Prevention of Obstetrical Complications

Adenomyosis was described as a pathology related to the advanced age of women. Today is clearly recognized in adolescent or young women. Early non invasive diagnosis obtained through ultrasound scan or radiology gives the chance to start with an adequate therapy and, in case of pregnancy, a right vision of possible complications. The research is also related to the individuation of possible molecules able to recognize and inactivate endometrial cells inside myometrial tissue.
