We evaluate methods and strategies for preventing and treating pain in the early stages of life, from the fetus to the adolescent, through the evaluation of tools to control the level of pain of those who cannot express themselves verbally. The following are evaluated: fetal pain during fetal surgery; neonatal pain in hospital; child's pain in relation to separation from parents or in the case of dysfunctional families. In particular, pain due to emotional deficiency and prevention with non-pharmacological techniques are studied.
