Immune Response to Various Bacterial Species

Line of Research 1: Immune responses to Helicobacter pylori in gastric cancer, gastric autoimmunity and gastric lymphoma. The T- and B- cell responses specific for Helicobacter pylori are dissected in order to define the correlate of protection and disease of Helicobacter pylori infection.

Line of Research 2: Immune responses to Chlamydia pneumoniae. The T- and B- cell responses specific for C. pneumoniae are dissected in order to define the correlate of protection and disease of C. pneumoniae infection.

Line of Research 3: Immune responses to Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The T- and B- cell responses specific for M. tuberculosis are dissected in order to define the correlate of protection and disease of M. tuberculosis infection.
