Pelvic Endometriosis: from Diagnosis to Personalized Treatment

Endometriosis is a chronic, benign disease affecting around 10% of women in reproductive age. Our research focuses on improving the accuracy of ultrasonographic diagnosis in order to detect the disease as early as possible, even in adolescent patients. Another important point is the increasingly accurate research on medical treatments (including new experimental drugs), for the management of pelvic pain, and the use of new surgical technologies to provide personalized and individualized management.
